Hello Council. My name is Melvin. I have been asked to write up a letter of introduction on myself in any way that I see fit. Selena also provided a copy of her own report on me, so I'll be using that as a template.

As a slime covered human, I have an unusual way of interacting with the world. It's best to say that the slime connected to me acts as a pair of eyes, ears, and skin. I am constantly informed about anything and everything around me in ways that are natural, but hard to describe to another person. I know everything about an object's makeup just by touching it.

If I touch a slime, I can feel its breath, play with its form, and draw out its spark of life. The border of its existence is permeable and meaningless, and unlike most rocks or people it does not exist at all beyond its skin. If it's heated enough, the slime crystallizes into a form that can sing and crosses into the dream land. If it's chilled enough, it becomes hard and emits light. Each of these things have a specific meaning that was described to me by the green haired man that hides his form from everyone around.

I don't really understand elements. Earth, fire, air, and water... these seem to be combinations of the underlying thoughts and forms that makes up reality. Fire is not life, even if it appears to be alive. Water is full of life, but on its own is merely a flow of thoughts and feelings. We breathe the air itself, the makeup of heat. The earth is the realm and the form and the crystallized essence of reality's grasp.

These senses form my experience. I try as best as I can to understand and relate to other people, but the slime that I work with causes other people to attack, mock, or otherwise mistreat me. Every time I meet someone new I want to impress on them just how different I am not because of the slime, but because I wish to be treated as a strange person instead of an experiment. I don't think there's any way for me to go back to normal, so this is for the best.
